Airplanes and Automobiles

Griff is loving his plane and his cars right now. We often have airplanes fly over our house and he always starts waving his hand in the air and making his version of plane noises. (That's what he's doing below.) He was given several vehicles for his birthday, which he now races around the living room. I love to watch him in action. And, in case you're wondering, he's sitting on top of our ottoman. He figured out how to remove the cushion, so he could climb up on top of it. I think we're in trouble.

 I always feel a sense of joy and adventure when I take Griff to the museum. There's so much to see and each time I take him there, I feel like he notices new things and is more aware. It has become a marker of his development--how he behaves at the museum. I think that our family membership is one of the best investments we've made this year, seriously. We just have so much fun every time we visit.

The Dead of Winter

Oh, the joy of a surprise spring day in the dead of winter. Griff and I had so much fun playing outside yesterday. The sun was warm on our faces even though the grass was wintry brown. I think it's safe to say that we're looking forward to spring!

Catch Up

Last week's Two by Two. These were actually taken last week...even if they weren't posted. I was reading Harry Potter and the Goblet of Fire. I left it on the couch. I suppose the cover illustrations caught Griff's eye. It was a little heavy for him, but he managed to check it out. 

I think you'll have to wait a few years, big guy!

Some weeks, iPhone photos are the only kind that happen. Full memory card, empty battery. I'd better start implementing my Nest resolution!

Bloggin' and Etsy-in'

We've been hard at work over at Freshly Rooted. Blogging, preparing for the opening of our Etsy shop. It's been fun to take photos for both sites. Don't our napkins look so bright and ready to be used?

Two.

I started the year thinking that I might do a 365 photography challenge. Jose let me know that he didn't think that would be the best idea. But, I'm pretty stubborn, so I continued to think it was a good idea...until January 3. Oops. So, instead I am going to do Two by Two. Each week I will take at least two photos twice and then post them on my blog. 

This is Griff's new smile. It cracks me up. His nose is so scrunched and his smile so toothy.

Does this mean I talk on the phone too much?
